Sealing Solutions Built for the Demands of Modern Powertrain
Internal combustion, hybrid, battery electric – fluid integrity across every drivetrain architecture.
The shift toward electrified powertrains hasn’t simplified sealing requirements — it’s added them. EV and hybrid platforms introduce new fluid chemistries, higher operating temperatures in battery thermal management systems, and zero-tolerance requirements for coolant ingress into electrical assemblies. At the same time, traditional ICE applications continue to demand proven material performance under high-cycle, high-temperature conditions.
PRP supplies seals across the full powertrain spectrum. FKM and GLT-FKM remain the standard for fuel system and transmission fluid compatibility. HNBR delivers the fatigue resistance and oil compatibility required in high-cycle engine sealing applications. For batter thermal management and EV cooling circuits, EPDM and silicone compounds offer the thermal stability and glycol-based coolant compatibility those systems require. FFKM is specified where aggressive electrical-grade fluids or high-temperature battery chemistry demand maximum chemical resistance.

Standards and qualification frameworks we support:
IATF 16949, customer-specific PPAP requirements, material traceability documentation, and fluid compatibility qualification data.
PRP can supply seals to automotive specification – with material traceability, fluid compatibility data, and documentation structured to support PPAP requirements. Custom geometries available when the application demands it.
